It is often believed that a home inspection or building inspection should ONLY be done during a sale. It is true that when a house or commercial building is sold a full inspection should be done to ensure all the facts are available to make a good decision but an inspection has more uses too.

A home inspection is a safety and maintenance tool. In many cases it will find problems that are inexpensive to fix right away but might result in bigger damages later. We inspect houses all over Marble Falls and the Highland Lakes District and we often find easy to remedy problems that, once fixed, save money in the long run. For example, a home inspection found a minor gas leak next to the water heater. The home owner was advised to fix this first as it was a safety concern. After repairing it the home owner was extremely happy as it lowered his gas bill by almost $100 a month.

Having a full inspection done of your home is advisable every few years. Let us know if you have any questions.
